Giving Back to Mantua Elementary

by Matt Mullin, President, president@mantua.org

Last month, the MCA gifted a framed poster from 1986 celebrating the 40th anniversary of Mantua Elemen-

tary to the school. The poster was itself a gift from longtime MCA member Nancy Goldsmith and her son

Brian Goldsmith. Linda Shannon, Principal, and Heather Meuty, President of the PTA, accepted the poster on

behalf of the school. Next year, Mantua Elementary will celebrate its 65th anniversary.

The poster will be hung in the school so that future generations can see when the computers were big, the

Walkmans played great tunes, and the playground gave you splinters.
