President’s Message, April 2026

Community is what you make it, and this spring we mean that literally. The
first-ever combined Mantua Made and Mantua Mini-Made craft markets are
coming on Saturday, May 2, at the pool parking lot and clubhouse. All neighbors
are invited to see what our local artisans and young entrepreneurs have
to offer from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.
We are in the final days of our spring membership drive, so if you haven’t paid your dues yet, please consider
renewing. Your $25 dues go to the important work that our team of volunteers does every day, including many
of the things detailed in this month’s newsletter. From filling potholes, lobbying Dominion Power or Fairfax
Water, attending county budget meetings, and hosting local events, we couldn’t do any of this without your
support.
Also coming soon is a revamped and revitalized Mantua.org. As part of the new website rollout, you may
notice changes to the way that you pay dues or manage your email preferences. We hope it’s a huge improvement
for everyone, but if you run into trouble, don’t hesitate to contact Gerry Anderson, our industrious webmaster,
at webmaster@mantua.org.
