Mantua is located in a hilly, wooded area but is convenient to major highways, Washington Metro, bus transportation, and shopping. Public schools are Mantua Elementary (mantuaes.fcps.edu), within the neighborhood. Frost Middle School (frostms.fcps.edu) and W.T. Woodson High School (woodsonhs.fcps.edu) are close by across Route 236.
The community has groups and activities for everyone, including: Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, a book club, Mantua Made Market (community artists and artisans)---and we welcome any resident who'd like to form a small interest group!
